Fables for the Boondogglers.
In a field somewhere currently unimportant, there lived a Grasshopper and an Ant. On a beautiful summer’s day, the Ant is busy collecting food for the upcoming cold winter. On her way home, she sees the Grasshopper playing her keyboard and watching Scrubs on Megavideo.
“Aren’t you going to collect food for the winter?” asked the helpful Ant.
“Ant-onie, there’s still a few more weeks left before winter. Just one more episode.” and with that the Grasshopper brushed the little Ant away.
Soon winter came to pass and the Grasshopper realized she had no food to eat. Humbly she went to the Ant to ask for help but Ant-onie was no where to be found.
In the end, the Grasshopper died of hunger, frost-bite and hypothermia. BUT she died partially happy as she managed to finish watching all the episodes of Scrubs and The Vampire Diaries.
In case you didn’t get it, collecting food for winter is a metaphor for my upcoming Options test which I have yet to study for O_O. I think desperate times are calling for desperate measures.

The bible always has nice, good advice to help me. I wonder what it says about procrastinators…
But if that wicked servant says to himself, ‘My master is delayed,’ and begins to beat his fellow servants and eats and drinks with drunkards, the master of that servant will come on a day when he does not expect him and at an hour he does not know and will cut him in pieces and put him with the hypocrites. In that place there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth. Matthew 24:48-51
The soul of the sluggard craves and gets nothing, while the soul of the diligent is richly supplied. Proverbs 13:4
Go to the ant, you sluggard;
consider its ways and be wise!
It has no commander,
no overseer or ruler,
yet it stores its provisions in summer
and gathers its food at harvest.
How long will you lie there, you sluggard?
When will you get up from your sleep?
A little sleep, a little slumber,
a little folding of the hands to rest-
and poverty will come on you like a bandit
and scarcity like an armed man.
Okay I’m off to study. Wish me all the best for Options.
Thinking of: J.D. and Elliot and how Dr. Cox just gets more sexier with each episode.
